Bulletproof windows can be made of several layers of glass sheets, in combination with layers of transparent plastic material. These layers, made of polycarbonate or thermoplastic materials, are glued and can be inserted between the glass sheets or attached to their front/back.
Depending on the level of protection it must provide, the number of layers of glass sheets and the thickness of the layers of plastic material can vary greatly.
