The glass is glued to the aluminum frame with the help of a structural silicone. On this type of wall, the opening windows tilt to the lower part with outward opening.
In the case of a structural or semi-structural curtain wall, only the glass and the narrow EPDM gaskets between the glass meshes are visible, which give the impression of an entirely glass wall, with a special aesthetic impact. Obviously, this type of curtain wall is also the most expensive.
It should be mentioned that the structure can be applied for vertical planes, for those inclined with a negative or positive slope, but also for roofs (skylights and domes).
