Double and triple insulating glass

The double and triple insulating glass manufactured by us is intended for installation in:

  • PVC carpentry, aluminum, laminated wood;
  • curtain walls;
  • lights.

Thermal protection

An insulating glass can be considered good if the value of the thermal transfer coefficient is lower. This coefficient is influenced by:

  • type of bottle. The glass that has the best thermal transfer coefficient is low-e glass.;
  • thickness of the gas chamber, determined by the width of the spacer rod between the two sheets of glass;
  • filling gas. The most used gases for filling insulating windows are argon, krypton and xenon.

Acoustic protection

Sound insulation, along with thermal insulation, is an essential problem for increasing the comfort of homes. It is influenced by:

  • thickness of the air compartment. The smaller the thickness of the air compartment, the faster the noise is transmitted
  • thickness of the glass. Using a thicker glass can improve the acoustic performance.

Using a laminated glass, the reinforcing film of this glass attenuates sound vibrations.

Anti-burglary protection

It is necessary for places such as banks, currency exchange offices, airports, etc. It is obtained by using various types of safety glass, glass lamination resins or anti-burglary foils in the insulating glass.

Aesthetic, easy to maintain

Technology has evolved and bottles with self-cleaning films (bioclean) are available, eliminating the periodic washing of windows, especially those on tall buildings. We can use decorative glass, fully sandblasted or with a pattern; we can mount inside the sprosses of different sizes and colors or the internal blinds.

Insulating glass is made up of:

  1. glass panels - two or three, depending on the requirements of the final application;
  2. the spacer rod - determines the thickness of the cavity between the glass panels and can be: assembled with corners or be bendable - made of steel, aluminum or composite materials that have increased heat-insulating and anti-condensation properties - "warm-edge", "termix" ;
  3. air or inert gas (argon) that fills the cavity created by the wand between the two glass panels;
  4. primary sealing is performed with butyl and positioned on the perimeter of the spacer rod, gluing the glass panels to it.
  5. secondary sealing is performed, depending on the application, with polyurethane or silicone and its role is to seal the outline of the insulating glass, ensuring a stable mechanical assembly.
  6. the dehydrating agent (molecular sieve) is inserted into the spacer rod, having the role of adsorbing the moisture inside the package.
