Enhanced thermal insulation glass (lowE)
The utilization of a glass pane with a pelicular protective layer of fine silver and bismut oxide particles (low emisivity material – lowE) in the double insulating glass unit, leads to the improvement of performances of the glazing, out of the point of view of thermal insulation. Thus a ”classical” window with double insulating glass unit has a heat transfer coefficient U =3,1 W/m² k, but a window where low emisivity glass is utilised, has a heat transfer coefficient U =1,4 W/m² k. This coefficient can be improved by substituting the air in the interior of the insulating glass unit by an inert gas, that leads to a heat transfer coefficient U =1,1 W/m² k.
Solar control glass
The tendency in modern arhitecture points towards the expansion of building glass facades surfaces. Therefore besides the thermal protection, the insulating glass structure must ensure solar protection and at the same time to offer coloring and an adequate reflectance.
In order to meet these demands, we use :
- Special tinted glass
- Special glass with reflective layer
Solar control and enhanced thermal insulation glass
Is manufactured out of a combination of solar protection glass with lowE glass, resulting a both thermal and solar insulating glass unit. There also exists the version promoted by our company of utilising a special glass, which combines both protective properties (thermal and solar) – In so doing, we obtain in combination with a clear float glass, a high performance insulating glass unit.
Acoustic insulation glass (with PVB layer)
We use laminated (bonded) glass panes of different structures (6.1 ; .......; 12.4) in the end of ensuring an acoustical protection, which reaches 24 ÷ 54 dB.
Security glass
We can manufacture different varieties of glass structures, which grant different security levels, relating to the glass thickness and the number of glass layers:
- ”A” - protection against different thrown objects pentration and personal safety;
- ”B” - protection against burglary;
- ”C” - bulletproof glass;
Decorative glass
We utilise decorative glass – screen, crizet, delta – and also blasted glass, on the entire surface, or with different design drawings, manufactured in our own MGH automatic blasting machine – Germany. This type of glass in combination with clear float glass or lowE glass, grants a decorative look to the insulating glass units.
